Are you sure you want 8 ft lengths?

For the lowest shipping cost, we suggest 6 ft or shorter when possible. 8 ft lengths add substantially to UPS and FedEx shipping charges.

Full lengths are quoted by phone

We only sell short lengths online. For full mill lengths of 20–24 ft, please call us for a quote and we'll price the pipe and freight together.

About the #3AE

The #3AE pairs a fixed socket with a hinged one, so a pipe can leave the corner at whatever angle the job needs. It's the fitting to reach for where a level rail turns down a stair or ramp.

Like every Nu-Rail® fitting, it's cast from corrosion-resistant 535 aluminum-magnesium alloy and locks onto standard pipe with set screws. No welding, no threading, just a hex key. Loosen the screws and you can reposition it or take the whole structure apart later.

Where it's used

  • Handrail transitions from a landing to stairs
  • Ramp rails
  • Angled frame corners
