Are you sure you want 8 ft lengths?

For the lowest shipping cost, we suggest 6 ft or shorter when possible. 8 ft lengths add substantially to UPS and FedEx shipping charges.

Full lengths are quoted by phone

We only sell short lengths online. For full mill lengths of 20–24 ft, please call us for a quote and we'll price the pipe and freight together.

About the #45

The #45 is a square, four-hole plate for bolting a post to a floor, slab or deck. It's the everyday choice for railing and frame posts.

Like every Nu-Rail® fitting, it's cast from corrosion-resistant 535 aluminum-magnesium alloy and locks onto standard pipe with set screws. No welding, no threading, just a hex key. Loosen the screws and you can reposition it or take the whole structure apart later.

Where it's used

  • Railing posts
  • Equipment and machine guards
  • Work platform frames
